HOW DOES IT WORK
In most buildings there are rooms where more light is needed. With the Eco Light Tunnel solar tubes, natural sunlight can reach these places.
The operating principle of the solar tube is simple. Sun rays falling from different angles are absorbed by the dome installed on the roof. The dome directs the light to a light-transmitting tube made of special aluminium coated with reflective nano layers, designed for a maximum transmission of light. This material does not lose its properties over time. Then, with the use of mirror reflections, the light is delivered to the prismatic diffuser. The unpolarized light entering the room illuminates it evenly, without causing reflections on smooth surfaces (e.g. monitors, screens).
Regardless of the atmospheric conditions outside, the light in the room has a much higher colour-rendering index than artificial light sources.
It is also possible to use the skylight after dark after fitting it with a luminaire that acts as a lamp.
